Program Logo

The "Sustainable Employment for Youth" program aims to improve youth employment opportunities and help them secure stable jobs and income. Launched in 2018, the program initially focused on providing essential skill training and practical work experience to speed up young people's access to stable employment. Since 2022, it has broadened its scope, prioritizing the preparation of university students for employment while they pursue their studies, through collaborative efforts with local universities.

FAQ

Currently, the Zorig Foundation is partnering with the National University of Mongolia, the University of Humanities, and Otgontenger University under the SEYP. All skill-building and information sessions provided by the program are accessible to students from these institutions at no cost. The part-time job opportunity at the NUM Career Center is exclusively open to 2nd or 3rd-year students willing to commit to the full 6-month program duration.

To apply for the program, complete an online application. Applications and essays can be written in either Mongolian or English. Successful applicants proceed to a one-on-one interview.

The selection process involves an initial review of written applications, followed by interviews with shortlisted candidates. Those who achieve the highest scores during this process will be nominated as program participants.

The program will run for 6 months. During the first 3 months, selected students will participate in skill-building activities. In the second half of the program, these students will continue their work at the Career Center, providing guidance and information to visiting students.

Selected students will have the chance to work at the NUM Career Center as part of the program. In a short amount of time, you'll acquire essential employment skills. Your role will offer opportunities to enhance your leadership and soft skills by assisting others and sharing knowledge gained from the program with fellow students.
