The Young Scholars Program (YSP) is a weeklong intensive academic program intended to introduce Mongolian high school students to a traditional liberal arts education as well as provide guidance with the admission process into the world’s best universities. Students selected for MYSP are provided with seminar courses led by Mongolian and international students from top universities around the world. Along with seminars, the program provides daily college prep workshops on SAT preparation, university selection, financial aid, college essay writing, and other relevant admission processes. The program was started by Mongolian and American volunteers and ran successfully for two years (2011-2013). From 2013 onward, the Zorig Foundation took over as the implementing organization.
